neo-nazis harass local sudanese at the fitzroy flats...join the community to collectively say that this is not acceptable. 7pm gertrude st side of the big fitzroy commission flats.
not too sure if everyone is aware of the neo-nazis' presence around the fitzroy flats, but over many consecutive nights there have been confrontations between the neo-nazis and the Sudanese community there. residents fear their safety, and are worried that the confrontations will escalate to racially motivated stabbings, as swords and knives have been involved so far.
so, this coming friday at 7pm at the fitzroy commission flats on Gertrude st, many people are assembling to hear the concerns of the community, and to make a public stance to the media, the council, the police and the neo-nazis that this is not accepted in a multicultural australia. please invite all you want/can, bring food, drinks, activities, music, etc.
