Logging has started behind the old Weld Ark camp site. Join us for a walk-in on the 18th Feb.

Logging in the lower Weld Valley.
Logging has started in Coupes WR12c and BB21c.
WR12c is a 90ha cable logged clearfell of old growth forest adjacent to Glovers Bluff.
BB21c is a 49ha variable retention/patch harvested wilderness forest. It is directly behind the old Camp Weld, between Barn Back Creek and Eddy Creek.
Roading is also occuring into pristine old growth adjacent to Reuben's Falls.
Join us for a walk-in to the old Weld Ark camp site and up the new road on Sunday 18th Feb. Meet at the Huon Valley Environment Centre (17 Wilmot Rd) at 9.30am.
