Iemma attacks Big Day Out flag 'ban'
NSW South Wales Premier Morris Iemma has branded as outrageous a reported ban on the display of the Australian flag at Thursday's Big Day Out rock concert in Sydney.
[Despite the Cronulla race riots.]
The concert's organisers say they are not banning or intending disrespect to the flag, but are discouraging its use at the Big Day Out because of recent incidents where the flag has been part of tensions.
They say the event is primarily a music festival, rather than marking Australia Day on Friday.
Mr Iemma says the stance should be withdrawn immediately.
He says it is up to the organisers' own security arrangements and police to deal with anyone using the flag to start trouble.
[So instead of trying to prevent crime they would rather deal with crime?]
Iemma: "They deal with the security and the police will deal with any problem-makers and anyone who's going to go along to the event to break the law, and the law will be enforced," he said.
[Where are they going to deal with them? Prison? Isn't it better to prevent them making a deal of it?]
Iemma: "It's not for the organisers to treat our flag with such disrespect. It's an outrageous position and it needs to be withdrawn, withdrawn immediately."
[Why is it an outrageous position? The organisers did not treat your flag with disrespect. The religeous neo-nationalists right wing islamofascists fanatics - including John Howard and his fundamentalism - treated your flag with such disrespect.]
State Opposition leader Peter Debnam says it is political correctness in the extreme.
"The message to the organisers has got to be straightforward: Embrace the Australian flag or move your event off State Government property," he said.
[I take it that we do more good things than bad things Peter?

Australia: More race hate from the political and mass media establishment
Big media switches over to super race hate campaigns again no doubt to cover up for John Howard, while he gets a buzz in Broome WA on holidays? Or is this what we're going to get until their big media and political establishment can once again shrug off their responsibilities and complicity in their wide spread lies and hate at home and their killing in Iraq, which includes torture, and rendition. Once again this is about what someone is alleged to have said, all ears open. But what about corruption who's going to deal with that? Hey Howard? What about you Dud? No not big media! If it's left up to big media all we're going to get is islamophobia because it suits them, is divisive and is a great way to cover-up for their lack of responsibility. Thanks!

Islamophobic Australians attack peaceful Aussie mufti
January 15, 2007 - Aussie mufti Sheik Taj al-Din Hilali's recent comments during an Egyptian TV interview have triggered more Islamaphobic outrage in Australia, with a number of politicians, including Federal Immigration Minister Senator Amanda Vanstone, laughing him off as an "irrelevance" or demanding he "stay in his native Egypt if did not like Australia."

Now it's alleged that the Sheik Taj el-Din Al Hilali comments spurred calls to the Immigration Department? What was the point of the pr exercise if people weren't going to call her? Why does she distance herself from her government and political media establishment's xenophobic pr campaigns?

They're just mad that the kids are rebelling against the multicultural establishment. Che shirts are so 1990s. Too many kids have been victims of violent anti-white racism and they're not buying the "diversity is strength" line any more, because the reality on the streets is that "diversity is death". Cronulla rebelled because of a decade of anti-white hate, now its spreading.
Don't pretend it had anything to do with Howard either, he's more responsible for mass immigration than any PM in Australian history. He is an anti-white, internationalist bigot. His policies= demographic genocide of White Australia.
God bless the Cronulla uprising and God bless the nationalist youth!

Debnam urged to rule out Hilali preference deal
New South Wales Deputy Premier John Watkins is calling on the State Opposition to rule out preference deals with Islamic cleric Sheikh Taj el-Din Al Hilali if he decides to run as a candidate in the state election.
========================
Does New South Wales Deputy Premier John Watkins think we don't know that Sheikh Taj el-Din Al Hilali publicly declared on National TV that he was not offering himself up personally as a NSW candidate? Or is he just acting dumb? Perhaps no one told him? Nah! So what would he have against any other Muslim candidate anyways? Islamophobia?
What would Peter Debnam Say? I love you I love you all?
Union Jack is now white supremacist?

As an Aussie of Irish, Italian, German and probably English mixture I don't mind at all the Union Jack on the Australian Flag being declined in modern Australia.
Who can forget 1 million Irish dying as the UK exported food for profit from Ireland during the potato famine. And there is the offense to the Original Australians, our Indigenous when they have the Union Jack top left of the flag pushed down on them after the massive pain and suffering of their people, which they have somehow survived.
It's why the Australian Republic needs a new flag. There is one from over in WA which has a boomerang Indigenous theme we quite like too.
Here is a groovy rainbow flag I think is very friendly as an antidote to the race hate white supremacism implicit in the Union Jack, held by two immigrant ladies I met at Turrella in Sydney one morning.

Group won't support Sheikh's MP push
The president of Australia's Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA), Tom Zreika, has distanced himself from Muslim cleric Sheikh Taj el-Din Al Hilali, who reportedly wants to field three candidates in the south-west Sydney seats of Lakemba, Bankstown and Auburn in the state election.
=============================
You say, "Muslim cleric Sheikh Taj el-Din Al Hilali, who reportedly wants to field three candidates in the south-west Sydney seats of Lakemba, Bankstown and Auburn in the state election."
Then why didn't anyone including the ABC tell the New South Wales Deputy Premier John Watkins?
http://melbourne.indymedia.org/news/2007/01/137206_comment.php#137235
And is Tom Zreika the only one you could find? Or did you ask anyone else? What about any affiliation with the State or Federal gov't? How about we take a fair Nine MSN poll? For and against? Seems reasonable as long as the poll isn't rigged? Hey!
Hairy Chested
Yesterday, Mr Iemma challenged Sheikh Al Hilali to stand for election rather than look for a candidate.
He'd rather find someone he can easily beat? Someone with less English skills and someone who has continually been villified by the Mess Media?
Iemma now says while the community is asking questions about local issues, politics and religion do not mix.
"Stand yourself, and if he does so, I would welcome the challenge of contrasting my values with his," he said.
In relation to politics and religion what about the rev Fred Nile's Christian Democratic party? Perhaps only some religions mix? Or is it more to do with islamophobia?
Just like saying I don't want to fight your mates I want to fight you come on take your shirt off, I can put shit on you I have a head start?]
Why doesn't he say I love to cause trouble? He also knows according to yesterday's national news that the Sheikh won't be standing as candidate and he is provoking him publicly to change his mind. Why is that?
Iemma: "For example - I love Australia and its people and he doesn't.
Excuse me but do you love all the people in Australia? Obviously not!
Can you say, I love you, I love you all?

Surely you realise the connotative difference between loving 'the people of Australia' and loving 'every Australian person.' Surely? Even as a rhetorical device, it's kinda weak.
The Cronulla thuggery was just as much a function (if not more so) of this absurd self-hatred fostered by the kinds of bizarre ideology-driven racial discourse often propogated on this particular website (though certainly not limited to it). And notice I say racial instead of racist, which is becoming, thanks to such dscourse, a power-word: one of slavery, intimidation and control.
Flags, shmags. Banning them is ridiculous as waving them around. People only turn to such empty notions because of the conditions they are placed in. You want to keep putting them there?
Scrap flag condition or cancel BDO, says Govt?
by Parrot Press
Monday January 22, 2007 at 03:27 PM
The Federal Government says the organisers of Sydney's Big Day Out should cancel the event if they are worried about violence, rather than discourage people from displaying the Australian flag.
==========================
Does that mean that the racist feds have distanced themselves from the root cause of the trouble they've caused our community in relation to the islamophobic race hate campaign? Their leader John Howard himself? Why is that?
Why don't we just cancel the flag at the dance party?
Or better still cancel the war criminal federal gov't at the next election?
Or even still send the mongrel and his cronies who've caused all the trouble to the Haige war criminal court for trial for their crimes against humanity!

PM blasts BDO flag conditions
Prime Minister John Howard says the idea of "banning" the Australian flag at Big Day Out concerts is stupid and offensive.
===========================
Then how come he was trying to deceive us by using the word 'banning' when that is false and misleading the people of Australia? Does he think lies are more honest than the truth? Sounds like it! Who is stupid and offensive? John Howard!
Doesn't the truth mean anything anymore? Perhaps he's lied so much he forgot what the truth is?
Your war criminal PM! Welcome to PNAC.
