Victorias state prisoner in Ararat

Steve Bracks runs a state where indefinite administrative detention, virtually identical to Gitmo is practised. I hope it doesn't take five years before there are International campaigns to free prisoners in this state. This power to imprison without trial takes us back to pre-Magna Carta dark ages. It is the death of Habeus Corpus and like all absolutist powers corrupts absolutely. Looks like Mark Latham was right about the ALP.
