Rascism and Resistance SDO mp3

Scan Dot Org - 'Rascism and Resistance' 30 mins stereo

http://media.libsyn.com/media/nimbinradiomedia/SDO_Rascism_and_Resistance.mp3
Warning ! Some explicit language!
A storm of overt-,covert- racism blows over Australia, because Judge Wilcox in Western Australia granted the Noongar people native title over the city of Perth - a symbolic gesture with NO consequences for white people - however, great alarm for mining corporations and other land-grabbing ventures. Dive into the cesspool of hatred, loathing, envy, xenophobia, and prejudice. Re-surface again with a collection of sponsored resistance messages. My thanks to Sara for the UK connection, and MC Bushwax of nimfm for his help.

As we predicted in the NT the 'win' in Perth has created the usual hate and fear associated with racism

Every claim here has been contested to ensure the maximum disruption and social turmoil

The recent loss of native title claims in Darwin demonstrate the hypocrisy of the State

http://www.abc.net.au/stateline/nt/content/2006/s1621423.htm

Great argument

- A genocidal invasion "interupted" your cultural 'continuity' and moved you around like cattle - therefore the court that allowed the murders. rape and dislocation - say you have no rights to land

Yes - a scenario predicted here in the NT
by mick Saturday September 30, 2006 at 10:26 PM

where every land claim has been contested and lost - (creating massive social tensions for nothing) - apart from the Native Title claim over the NT

The hypocrisy of the different fates of each of these claims in major urban areas has not escaped us

The appeals are being mounted already - Scary to think of the hatred this will cause in a State where property is King and racism has always been ugly

The claim win means little to Perth's status (bar a very late acknowledgement of regional genocide) - but try convincing racists fuelled by fear and ignorance.

Aboriginal people remain the poorest landlords in Australia

You have forfeited your right to post "edpol safe" (whatever that means) comments.

You nothing but a disruptive troll contributes nothing to indymedia other than vile. http://www.melbourne.indymedia.org/news/hidden.php?id=123643#123652
