The yahoo egroup, Civil Rights Network Australia, was set up on October 27 in response to the government’s increasing restriction of our civil liberties.

The yahoo egroup, Civil Rights Network Australia, was set up on October 27 in response to the government’s increasing restriction of our civil liberties.

Formally Civil Rights Network Sydney, the egroup has about 100 members and posts selected media articles and links of relevance to ASIO and anti-terrorism laws, as well as announcing meetings.

Hopefully, Australians in other states and territories will use the list for a national response to the government’s increased legal powers.

To join, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/civil_rights_network_australia/

For background information on terror laws, you can go to

Note Well: In order to facilitate communication between members, email addresses are available to other members. Please join with an obscure email if this is a concern.
