OH MY GOD THEY KILLED KENNY!!
Pictures from the official ESF meeting that was due to be addressed by London Mayor Ken Livingston but was instead addressed by anarchists from Beyonfd ESF. They were annoyed at Ken because: 1)His Metropolitan Police had been harrassing them for days. 2)The main ESF was uninclusive. 3)The ticket price was too expensive. 4)He is a slimy newt fixated tosser who has recently rejoined the capitalist war mongering 'Labour' Party.

there were a lot of contradictions at the esf this year, that's for sure. but, the same as with the 'end the occupation of iraq' meeting on the friday, since when has silencing people been the goal of any of the groups involved?
and as for the ticket price being too much, £20 for students and unwaged people and £30 for other people, including a three day travel ticket worth about £15, is hardly stretching anyone.

funny how activists that go on about how boring the left is etc...etc...all look exactly the same (do they get those hooded tops from the same shop) are nearly male and nearly all white....and punching a black guy who was chairing the meeting will not win you any fans whatever you think of the GLA!

I went the event they organised and they hardly had 30 people. Notice they have not posted photos of their 'hooded event' at Middlesex Uni.

There's some shit posted about us on this thread. AS someone who was actually there, I'll correct a few of the racist smears that have traditionally come from Trots.
Firstly, he wasn't punched, he's drama queening up the incident for his own political ends...
There were plenty of people from different backgrounds, and only a few were wearing hoods... Try indymedia Uk for plenty of photos to prove that.
Given the authoritarian nature of the years ESF there are already moves to make sure it returns to its libertarian roots, plenty of European groups are already making statements to that effect. Try the Wombles website in the UK for the anarchist response.
