Jaara Bringing Them Home camp was busted earlier this afternoon, in another act of dispossession and removal of Indigenous people from their homelands, that has occured as Naidoc week begins.

8 local police officers came around 1pm (estimate) and served an eviction notice on the camp.

Jaara descendant Aunty Susan Rankin refused to leave the site of the old Franklinford Aboriginal mission, pleading NO JURISDICTION to the police order to leave. At about 2.30pm, she was arrested and is being taken to Ballarat Police Station.

Her supporters at the Jaara Bringing Them Home Camp stand by her right to remain at the site, as it is Jaara land.

Premeditated continuing acts of intergenerational Genocide.

Makes you sick how they can keep gettin away with the worst crime against humanity - and its acceptable to the majority of non-Indigenous apathetic, ignorant so-called citizens of this land now known because of Genocide as Australia - the land of invasive aliens trying not to rock the boat and stay afloat in their arrogant self satisfying denial. Aunty Sue is entitled under any known Law on Earth - particularly her own Jaara Customary Lore - to live on her land freely, to protect her land - without disturbance, violence, dishonour or disrespect from the authorities or Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. Aunty Sue is not trying to make herself a profit. She is not a capitalist. All of her work in documenting evidence of Genocide, and setting up a sustainable community she does from a grassroots level. She refuses to be tied to government funding who can then dictate how she allocates the funding. So Aunty remains independant of the system which is hell-bent on destroying her peoples and their land. She is a Human Rights activist and an Eco Warrior. A Genocide Prosecutor. They should be ensuring her safety if anything- in the most racist country in the world. But of course that would be an act of humanity too great and honourable for any of the so-called authorities of this continent - whose soul intent is to make money and control the masses through acts of Genocide of the Original Peoples - in sometimes the most insidious ways and other times really obvious - but on every known level. The arrest of Aunty Sue from her land is yet another form of Genocide. YOU ARE A TOWER OF STRENGTH AUNTY. You are a Great, Honorable, Inspirational, Beautiful spirit. And as Einstein said once Mum, GREAT SPIRITS HAVE ALWAYS ENCOUNTERED VIOLENT OPPOSITION FROM MEDIOCRE MINDS. Don't let the Bastards grind you down. All my love and support when I can't be there with you and the community/family.
