White Slaughter in South Africa? : Melbourne Indymedia

While former South African President Nelson Mandela, 85, scoffs at rumors of ill health, plans are being made by the nation's Communist Party to slaughter all whites in the country upon his death, G2B sources say.

One of the operations planned entails 70,000 armed black men "being transported to the Johannesburg city center within an hour" in taxicabs to attack whites.

The plans are variously dubbed "Operation Vula," "Night of the Long Knives," "Operation White Clean-up," "Operation Iron Eagle" and "Red October campaign."

Operation "Our Rainy Day" was to be carried out after the death of Nelson Mandela and would have entailed blacks being transported to the largest cities in taxis.

The assailants were expected to "take over" fuel points and massacre whites. The attacks would lead to a coup.

Sources say most blacks in the country are aware of the plans. When racial disputes occur, blacks often tell whites, "Wait until Mandela dies.”

"White people in South Africa can deny it to the end of the earth, but we are in real danger," one resident said. "This is no joke and any person with half a brain can see that this rumor has spiraled out of control."

Many whites are now convinced a vicious campaign of ethnic cleansing will follow Mandela's death whenever it comes. Some are making preparations for retreats.

"I have prepared myself and we have a gathering place where we can fortify for four weeks after Mandela’s death," said one white South African. "If nothing happens it will be a miracle."

The Red October campaign is allegedly a Communist plot to oust President Thabo Mbeki. Mbeki would be replaced by Cyril Ramaphosa.

"I was starting to think I was going nuts!" said another white South Africa resident. "'Operation Uhuru' or 'Operation White Clean-up' is definitely no rumor. I spoke to someone who told me that some blacks in Zimbabwe have also confirmed that this 'event' will take place. My cousin stays on a farm in Mpumalanga, not too far from Johannesburg. A black police officer in that district told his white colleague that they are going to kill us like flies, and there is nothing we can do about it. And that they also don't care if we know."

Meanwhile, Mandela, obviously aware of the growing rumors, last week assured the public he is well.

"My health is all right," he told reporters in Cape Town. "I'm doing very well. Others have gone further and said I am on the eve of going to my grave. If that day comes, I will go and knock at the door of heaven. ... They will look at the list and say: 'Your name is not here ... can you try next door?'"

Concern about Mandela's health surfaced last month when he canceled a scheduled meeting with visiting German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. The former president was at the time relaxing on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius.

Mandela joked that when his time comes, "I will look for a branch of the ANC (the ruling African National Congress) in that world (and) I'll join it."

Not suggesting I would condone an action of this kind, yet why does it happen? Anything to do with being brutalised by whites for generations? They will probably do a very brutal job of it too, they have been the apprentices of the most accomplished brutalisers in the history of humanity, the white ruling class.

Check out his website at http://worldnetdaily.com/ which has a "QUEERLY BELOVED" section supporting the campaign against gay marriage in the US, says the US media is corrupted by liberal bias [!!!] and approvingly quotes plans for 'whites only' scholarships to unis.

It also has a "SPECIAL OFFER" called "How illegal immigration is destroying our culture" where you cheaply buy a "Hot, new book [that] puts you on southern border as citizens battle human flood".

what we have is opinion on Farahs part. he doesnt substantiate it. It sounds someone is trying to arouse racial violence under the umbrella of preemption(us or them). Farah should rightly be taken to court as a menace to society.

In reply to the comments on Joseph's article, I cannot deny the possible truth. With the balance of power that has been willingly tipped by the white people in RSA to black (maybe we aren't so bad after all) , the lives of every person has degraded tremendously, no matter what skin colour.

The evidence lies in the farm killings and needless attacks on whites (especially the elderly). I am not a paranoid person but with recent developments and excitement amongst black people escpecially after Zimbabe and the ANC's major victory in the 2004 elections, I have been noticing enough things to start worrying.

I am white, educated and I believe that I have a high moral standard. I do not condone violence but like Joseph Stalin said- "Genocide is a viable solution to any problem". This solution unfortunately counts for me and the people that I love since most of them are white.

One of true opinion should be someone who lives in the new South Africa. It has been claimed that us Afrikaners are the worst form of racists but I cannot stress more of how wrong that claim is...Remember, there was never a coup, the country was laid down peacefully after ELECTIONS.

As part of the "white ruling class" in South Africa, I grew up in an era when RSA was nothing more than a Enlightened socialist state, bordering on "Afrikaner Marxism": the Dutch Reformed Church was a state funded church, and people voted knowing fullwel that the vote didn't count anyway. Yes we had darker powers at work here. The entire country was run by the Afrikaner Broederbond (Afrikaner Brotherhood), a very influential and very powerful secret organisation. They had members in all aspects of daily south african life, including education, churches, business, parastatals, broadcasting. Everything! We , the so called white supremists were also subjected to their supremist ideals. In some cases yes it did pose an advantage to us because of our white skin. But alas! we are Dutch naturalised white south africans now.

I fought with my black brothers for the national party governemt to be toppled. We fought and won, peacefully. Now, however, the tables have turned. Everybody has the right to vote and we have one of the most watertight constitutions in the world.

However, more people are now poor, more people are now unemployed, and more people are now unhappy that the cats they voted into power are now the same FAT CATS they voted into power. Corruption is rife, and the people are unhappy. They still vote, but like we did back when it was the white minority who voted, south africans now vote for a specific party because they are used to voting for it. Not because the party effected any real change. The promises of housing and grants for the poor did not alleviate poverty.

The government of the day are in denial: half of the MP's are dying of HIV/AIDS, and thus denying that they have it by fighting the use of antiretroviral drugs in this country.

What my tirade boils down to in the end, dear anonymous, is that I invite you to come to South Africa and experience her problems first hand. and while you are here, also see that we have hope, no matter what our skin color is. Right, so lets start with Operation White Clean-up. Maybe some some one could shed some light: Why would the blacks want to massacre all the whites when the black people already have all the power? What would be the logic behind this? (yes, I realise that some will argue that what is the logic behind many human actions - good ol' Adolf and his Nazi crew's genocide - however there has got to be some sort of reasonable explanation.)

Secondly, comparing South Africa and Zimbabwe is simply an unfair comparison. I agree that we are neighbours on the same continent however we are completely different countries, each with our own history, economy, resources etc

Zimbabwe (unlike South Africa) had very little to begin with and when "The World's Favourite President" came in to power, the little that Zims had began to dwindle. Of course, as we all know, things then went completely pear-shaped for Zims and they have lost the little they had and more.

South Africa, however, is a growing economy with a wealth of resources that still hold the possibility of utilization. (We just need to get off our arses and start utilizing.) Therefore, how can we compare two countries that are so dissimilar? And then use that unfair comparison to predict that RSA will also follow the way of the pear?

Ok, so I wont deny we also have our profusion of problems but show me a country that doesn't? Is it impossible for people to just let go of the past and move on? (ok so this may be naive and uber-optimistic but the more we allow this kind of rumour to fester into an unjustified fear that corrupts our society and our minds, the more likely it is to cause an uprising of some sort due to slanted ideas that we have allowed to manifest.)

Lastly,PLEASE, people, don't believe everything you read!!!!!! Everyone is entitled to their opinion but since when did opinion become fact? I realise that many people have had racist experiences in RSA (probably as a result of apartheid) but how can that be used as proof for the future of South Africa?

I seriously think people should take a step back and think about what they are accusing the black people of in South Africa. I dont think the people making these comments about " Operation White Cleanup" should think that black people in SA have the same evil mentality as their four fathers did. Why in the world would black people want to kill all the White people in SA. Black people have been living in poverty for a seriously long time in this country. And only now are a few us being able to get good education so that we can empower our families too. All that we want for our families is to live a good life like the ones you have become so accustomed too.
In no way would black people jeopordise the opportunities they have now in the same way you think. Clearly some of you have your minds riddled with a guilty concience and "think" revenge is the right route.

People wake up. Lets all try and live together and work for a better country for all people in SA, be it White, Indian, Asian, and Blacks. We are all South African after all.

I'm white and live in SA. I hope that the tell-tale horrors will not end as predicted. I stacked up on a supply for about 3 months of food. Last week an elderly couple was again brutally murdered with the warning that all whites will be wiped out. It is not just farm killings anymore but inside of the cities also. I go to work everyday and when I look around I sometimes think that this is some crazy notion and all will be well. Especially in the light of SA hosting the Soccer world cup in 2010. Fear is the greates pacifier of all. And I must be honest I feel a tremble of fear when I think how easy it would be to enrage a group of unhappy people. At my previous work I happened to be in an office when people marched through the streets - You just realise how insignificant you are, and it would be a mirracle if you survive if they decide to take to violence.
